on another note, there have been a LOT of questions... I'll try to give a blanket coverage here to what I can.
First, I cannot give you sneak peeks. Sorry, but waiting is part of the game and half the fun! When IDW and Hasbro give a thumbs up, it will come here first!
Second: Yes, these are original stories (no, I'm not gonna tell you what it is yet!), not adaptations of existing episodes. This gives us the chance to do things that maybe couldn't be done in an episode due to time restriction or other limitations! The target audience is the exact same as the show, meaning it will be great for kids and adults alike. We know what a major fan-following this license has, and we intend to do everything we can to entertain and surprise everyone. One thing I can tell you is to always keep your eyes on the background... both Katie and I love to sneak in goodies
Third: Distribution... IDW will be doing the publishing, so as to availability in your country, it's best to check their website and the websites of comic distribution companies that handle IDW. The book will be available at comic shops, and IDW alos offers digital online services. But buy the comic... you'll want it in your hands
Fourth: The artwork is NOT being digitally produced... I'm an extremely old school comic illustrator, I draw with pencil and ink with a brush
One last thing... another reason I'm up so early on a saturday? Why, I'm at the starting gate! To officially put my official pencil to official paper and start on some official My Little Pony comic book artwork! WE"RE OFF!

One quick question: Is Derpy going to be in your comic? Us bronies would love it if she was, because there seems to be a lot of controversy going on around her since her appearance in The Last Roundup. Maybe this can be an opportunity to prove to Derpy-haters that she isn't derogatory against disabled kids, as some people believe.
To THAT end, I've already set up an account at IDW's online store, JUST in case I MISS any issues, due to NOT being able to get to my "local" (as in about 23 (or so) miles up the highway from me!) comic books store (which I don't foresee happening, actually).
This will ALSO help me get caught up on the ones of their Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles issues that I've missed, as well. So, yeah.
And you do YOUR comics that way, too, huh? I actually like THAT way BETTER than digitally done ones, though each version has it's good points. Personally, I do MINE that way (my FAN-comics, that is) because I just flat-out don't know HOW to color them digitally! (Yeah, I'm a bit of a doofus that way.
Anyway, good luck to you and Katie with this, and, like I said, I absolutely cannot WAIT to get my hooves on Issue No. 1! Oooooo, November can-NOT come soon enough for me!
Heh, like I said before, looks like you guys (as well as Kevin Eastman and Crew) and IDW will be getting the majority of my comic-buying dollars from now on. Not that I mind, mind you.
