Archie for Baltimore Comic Con by andypriceart
Archie for Baltimore Comic Con
this year at Baltimore Comic Con, the theme of the show is Archie! Each year Baltimore does a kind of "yearbook" for the show. featuring art by the guests. Here's the piece I did for the book- While I love The Archie's and The Pussycats, I wanted to make sure Sabrina got some love, along with her long forgotten "cousins", the monster band know as The Groovie Goolies! Sabrina shared a cartoon with them in the late 60's, and this is my spin on them.

Brush and ink on 11x17 Bristol board.

Apologies for not posting this info sooner- trying to prep for the show and covered in deadlines have put me behind!!

All commission slots for Bronycon have been picked and those selected have been contacted! If you were not picked, I apologize- a large number of people submitted and I took as many as I was able. I'll still be taking commissions at the show, so come see me at my table in the vendor hall, but come early!

I'm also debuting two new limited edition prints at the show, and the return of an old favorite: The "Sisters" print is returning in a new Remarque limited edition! A Remarque edition means that each print will have an original pencil drawing on the print itself, making each signed and numbered print a one of a kind piece. It also has slight revisions to separate it from the original print run. All the deluxe prints are limited, so first come first serve!

So come to my table... prints, original art and pages from the comic, my famous $10 head sketches, and more!

See you in Baltimore!

BRONYCON. It's the premiere MLP convention... my favorite convention staff ever running a big busy show dedicated to just the fandom of MLP. For those that don't know, since issue 1 in 2012 I have been with the officially licensed MLP: FIM Comic book published by IDW Publishing. Since my first appearance at Bronycon I've consistently done my best to draw everything for everyone that comes to my line. I'll be there doing larger commissions, quick sketches each day, and selling prints and art as I have the past few years. I'll also have pages of original art from the comics with me for sale! If you've seen me there before, you know how busy my line is, and how fast I sell out of the larger commission slots. Well, here's your chance to get in early!

This year I'm going to offer "Pre-order" Commissions! PLEASE READ EVERYTHING CAREFULLY. Please do not send commission spot requests through comment section

Normally, I do not do "pre-order" commissions for most conventions; my schedule rarely allows such a thing. However, for Bronycon this year I'm going to offer pre-show commission slots! I will still be taking a Small list of commissions at the show as usual but this gives people who might be interested in having a full-sized commission, but are unable to get to the show first thing each morning a chance to get on the list (also saves those pesky lines!)

It should be noted that I will NOT be doing full color at the show, only gray-scale marker. For examples of grayscale marker commissions, please take a look at my gallery, there are a few shown. Here's one: Luna and Tiberius Pleasant Dreams

There are 5 spots for 9x12 single-figure gray-scale or color marker commissions. These are $140 each. Double-figure is $180 (no more than two figures per commission).

There are 3 spots for an 11x17 gray-scale or color marker commission. This one is $400 for single-figure, $500 for double-figure, $600 for triple-figure- more than 3 figures please inquire.

If I am able to take on more than this before the show I will post further info, but don't bank on that.

Ponies or people, absolutely no adult material. "Pin ups" are fine. No personal/fan portraits. Original characters are considered with supplied, clean and clear reference. I reserve the right to reject suggestions that I feel are inappropriate. Be fore-warned... I'm not a big fan of a lot of the "Shipping", so if that is what you want you may wish to offer a backup consideration in your requests, please.

All suggestions are entertained, but if there are a number of people wanting them, I will pick which I'll be doing. Feel free to contact me with further questions, I will reply as best I can. All pieces will be done and ready for in-person pick-up ONLY (no shipping, sorry) at Bronycon this July in Baltimore.

If you are interested, please contact me here by sending a private note to my Deviantart mailbox (please do not send requests through comment section of this journal) on Deviant Art to work out details of payment and pickup. Send a brief description and any reference needed for your request, along with the size slot you wish to request (9x12 or 11x17).  Please include your name (your real name please, not a persona). Requests that are made through other venues or means outside of Deviant art mailbox will not be considered.

ALL COMMISSION REQUESTS MUST BE IN BY SUNDAY NIGHT June 26 AT 10 pm EST TO BE CONSIDERED. Please get requests in as soon as you are able.

I will contact the people chosen through private message so as to not reveal any gifts/etc. Good luck and thank you! For any further info and updates I recommend following me on Twitter- I'm on there as andypriceart . Besides, you'll get to see a lot of art and other nonsense on there as well!

Hi there! Any plans to make an MLP comic story with Sunset Shimmer that is not part of Equestria Girls? You know, a Friends Forever story?
