I'll be in the city by the bay and home to Starfleet, Rice-A-Roni, and BJ Hunnicutt this weekend. San Francisco is the home to BABScon, a big MLP show hosting myself, and a slew of other comic and show guests.

I'll be selling prints, original art and pages from the book, and doing on the spot commissions!

Interested in buying some original art, or any of the prints that I usually offer at shows only? is a new online store that my wife has engineered! There will be more items added (such as the other non-pony prints) as we get it going, and feedback is always appreciated!

Upcoming shows- Denver, New York City, Boston, AUSTRALIA!!! If you have a convention you wish to have me appear at, please let them know!

Love your gallery, your copics skills are amazing and I love your drawing style... it's vintage and fresh at the same time!

Quality Traditional Pony Art Indeed sir. Very lovely.
Saw some of your work at BABSCon, thanks for getting a photo with me. Your work is outstanding in person. I flipped pages carefully o.o; some of them are so detailed the prices are understandable yet nerve-wracking looking at them thinking "This beautiful thing is $1,500 and it's not even colored yet..turn this ever-so-carefully to the next page..." intimidating, yet amazing!

The preview for issue #18 of the FiM comic is up and I can't help but notice your drawings have changed, is any reason for that? (I loved their original 1970's underground comic feeling and those giant, unique pegasus wings as well.)

Also, I noticed the comic kept making references to Equestria Girls and the preview showed how you guys integrated it to the comic's canon, so unfortunately (just like I had to do with Luna's micro) I cannot buy this comic anymore.

I was really looking forward it, but if supporting this comic means indirectly supporting a poisonous franchise that has caused nothing but problems to FiM, then I have no choice but follow Big Jim's Tweeter advice and voting with my wallet to make Equestria Girls go away.

Hopefully Katie's next script would not contain any more EqG references so I could support the comic again, if not, well, then my wallet will remain closed.

To not close this post on such a negative tone, I loved the first arc and the Big Mac/Rarity stories as well, in fact that's the fun I was expecting to find in this new arc instead.

Ah well, not everything is for everyone.

Honestly, I don't know if Equestria Girls is for anyone in the comic's targeted readers, since it was supposed to aim for an older audience and do the things that wouldn't be allowed to appear in the cartoon. The first 2 comic arcs were awesome, and it would be great if someday Hasbro decided to adapt them into a movie or special.

Also, for a fandom who has been impatiently waiting a FiM movie since 2010, the mere sight of Equestria Girls invading other mediums is enough to enrage a lot of them to kingdom come, remember that Hasbro has announced 2 more EqG movies +5 shorts (regardless of if the fans wanted them or not) but has absolutely no intentions of producing a Friendship is Magic movie and still expects people to keep being patient and keep supporting them yes or yes.

Remember when Hasbro killed Optimus Prime and almost all of the G1 characters to replace them with some horrible characters for some awful toy advertisements disguised as awful adventures in space and Cybertron?

That's how Equestria Girls feels like, and it hurts.

Anyway, as I said I will be looking forward your next project.
FELLOW FELLOW MLP FAN: I could use your counsel.

Recently I was able to fix and even improve on my old but trusty GRAPHIRE 3 Wacom digital pen. It was a nib issue:…

But I still find myself thinking about getting an Intuos Medium (not the Intuos Pro or Intuos Manga).…

I have asked my irl professional artist friends about it, but their input leaves me with..."inconclusive." They both say that a bigger tablet is better for "painterly" artists. I really don't know if I am painterly, but I have a hunch that I am going towards that direction.

But one of them states a disclaimer: One of the bg-artists of… uses a similar kind of tablet that I am using now. The GRAPHIRE 3 is most definitely small. And pressure sensitivity is hilariously sad at best. And yet this bg-artist can make very detailed backgrounds with it.

The GRAPHIRE 3 that I have now is ok. Years of working on it, so yeah, I'm pretty comfortable with it. But its sort of like, "Its all I know, so how do I know if a bigger, more advanced tablet would do me good" kind of situation.

We do not have the option of trying out the tablets in the shops here. So I am appealing to you guys to give me input.

Will you be at C2E2 or Wizard World Chicago this year?

Neither one, sorry! First time I've missed C2E2
