This weekend I'll be here- planetcomicon.com/ in Kansas City Mo!

I'll be doing commission sketches, selling original art and limited edition prints, and more! I'll also have fellow MLP alum Katie Cook and Tony Fleecs with me!

Remember the biggest rules for a convention- bring CASH (not all vendors take credit cards, hardly anyone at these shows take checks), bring a big bag or poster tube if you plan on buying goodies, pace yourself... and remember deodorant! These halls get warm and full of people :)

Other upcoming shows this year:
Megacon in Orlando!
c2e2 in Chicago!
Big Wow Comic Fest in San Jose!
More to be announced... if there's a show you want to see me at, let them know!!
Vampirella inks for Big Wow by andypriceart
Vampirella inks for Big Wow
Vampirella, done for the upcoming Big Wow Con in San Jose this April! The theme of the show and it's art auction this year is Forrest Ackerman's little neck nipper, Vampi.

She'll eventually be painted with dyes, and once complete I will post that as well, but I'm pretty content with the inks too. Been far too long since I've drawn people, the ponies are taking over and left me out of practice. She took longer than she should have.

India ink with brush and croquill on Arches watercolor board, 12x16 inches.

Everfree Cover With Effects 300 Dpi by andypriceart
Everfree Cover With Effects 300 Dpi
a different approach with mediums not typical to a comic book cover- Colored pencils and acrylics on black paper. For the cover to Issue 27 of the MLP Comic series from IDW Publishing! Love trying out different stuff.

cover for Jeremy Dale's SKYWARD by andypriceart
cover for Jeremy Dale's SKYWARD
10x15, india ink and brush on brsitol board.

A cover I had created for SKYWARD, the independent book created by Jeremy Dale and published through Action Labs. It was awaiting colors when we suddenly lost Jeremy early this week.

Jeremy Dale was a great guy, and one of our grand extended family. We're going to miss his art, his great attitudes, and his big laugh.

Though I have to ask even though I'm not sure if you'll reply, what the heck was King Aspen doing with the horns? Is that a peculiar kind of nature magic that only the royal lineage can obtain that unicorns (or Oryx) can't use?

I love your MLP comics, and had a completely random question about one... In Reflections part 3, there's a note in the background reading "What is Amber," is this a reference to Roger Zelazny's fantasy series Amber?
